About this Pattern

Knit a saucy beret to pull on over your ears when those winter days start to tug on your spirit. I worked my little hat in a tweedy red and topped it with a perky I-cord detail. Because this hat is a one-skein project, you can easily make a second beret in a misty gray for days when you’re feeling serious.

Beginning at the top of the crown, stitches are worked on double-pointed needles and increased, then stitches begin to work in 1x1 rib and are decreased to the brim, with some rounds of Stockinette stitch before binding off. A little twist is attached to the top!
