There's something about ribbing that fits and feels snug around your head. Teego combines the look and feel of a knitted rib (but by crocheting hdc-blo sideways) with an alternating stripe pattern.

Gauge
16 sts (4 SR) = 5¼” / 12 cm and 12 rnds = 4¾” / 12 cm in Stripe Pattern with larger hook; 19 sts and 12 rows = 4” / 10 cm in hdc-blo with smaller hook, after wet blocking. (Note: For proper fit, it is more important to match the row gauge of the hdc-blo than the stitch gauge.)
