The body and sleeves of the Vortex Pullover are worked separately from the lower edge to the underarm, where they are joined and worked together while working set-in shaping to the shoulders. A few short-rows are worked at the shoulders to decrease the remaining sleeve cap stitches and to shape the slanted shoulders and the back neck. When you’re working the body, you have the option to add a pouch pocket that is not shown on the sample. I just love pockets and would put them on everything if I could, but I wanted to show some sweaters without them. See page 80 of No-Sew Knits for instructions on how to add a pullover pocket!
