about Kristen   Kristen TenDyke is a knit and crochet designer from Maine. She loves playing with yarn and has published designs in Interweave Knits, Interweave Crochet, Vogue Knitting, Knit Simple, Twist Collective and Knitty.com. She's also has designs published with various yarn companies such as Quince & Co., Berroco, O-Wool and Classic Elite Yarns. Her first book—Finish-Free Knits—will be available in December 2012, from Interweave Press. In 2010 Kristen began a growing collection of designs that are dedicated to supporting the use and production of eco-friendly yarns. Her Caterpillar Knits designs use organic, fair trade, low carbon footprint, recycled, animal friendly or vegan yarns that use low impact, natural dyes, or none at all.
