Not-Yellow Top-Down Tank Free Pattern March 13, 2022 14:22

A top-down tank, worked seamlessly in the round. There are markers placed on the yoke, with increases worked as raglan shaping. When the raglan shaping is completed the sleeve stitches are skipped over, and underarm stitches are added, then the bodice is worked in the round to the hem.

NOTES:

  • Top is worked in 1 pc from the top down. The Yoke begins at the neck, and is worked out, then there are some rows worked even for lengthening the back; there are sts added for the underarms, then the front and back are joined and the Bodice is worked in the rnd.

  • When working Yoke inc rnds be sure to work the last hdc of each rnd into the joining sl st of the previous rnd, so the beg ch-2 and the last hdc simulate an inc.

  • When placing marker, place it around the loop that is currently on the hook. In the yoke, the marker should fall between the 2 sets of 2 hdc.
