Drip Diamond Shawl August 12, 2020 23:04

Two years ago, the Drip Diamond Shawl pattern was published in the Delicate Details book, from Knit Picks. The rights for me to sell this individual pattern have been granted, and it's now available for purchase on my website, Ravelry, and elsewhere!

The Drip Diamond Shawl is worked from the point up. The two columns of lace diamonds are divided by a band of garter stitch, with the upper triangle worked in stockinette stitch.

A picot edge graces each edge of the shawl, and is worked at the beginning and end of each row at the same time as the shawl is made.

The pattern includes 10 pages of detailed instructions, including written and charted instructions for the lace patterns as well as a thorough glossary and abbreviations list.

The sample shawl is knitted using 2 skeins (about 880 yards) of Knit Picks Shadow—a 100% merino wool fingering weight yarn, at a gauge of 24 sts to 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch.
