The Rebirth Pullover is a pattern unlike anything you've ever seen from me before. I'm trying something new—lots of new things, actually.
What's New About It?
The biggest new thing about this pattern is that there is symbolic meaning behind nearly every aspect of the sweater. It has been intentionally designed to guide you through a process of self discovery and reflection to cultivate a form of rebirth into being your most authentic version of yourself. What? Read more.
If symbolism, etc… isn't your thing, but you still want to make the sweater, don't worry—I kept the symbolic stuff and the pattern info separate for anyone who's just interested in the pattern to make the sweater, without the other stuff.

Also something new I'm trying—the pattern is visible free online (with ads sprinkled throughout).
However, only the PDF includes all the symbolic information that goes along with the pattern. So there is still the option to buy the PDF to own it outright, for simplicity, no ads, keeping it in your Ravelry Library, etc…

The Rebirth Knit-A-Long:
I'll be guiding a KAL—beginning on March 31—which will (of course) include the knitting of the sweater, but which is also including info for those of you interested in the symbolic rebirth process that goes along with the knitting. The Zoom calls correlate with the moon cycles between now and the summer solstice, so in addition to having a group of knitters to knit along with, we'll all be doing a little bit of magic together to focus the whole "rebirth" process.

About the Sweater
The body and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up. There is an option for long or short sleeves. At the underarm, the body and sleeves are joined for the yoke. There are some raglan decreases, and some decreases in the leaf and ribbing patterns on the yoke. The held underarm stitches are joined using the three-needle-bind-off technique. And as usual, it's seamless!
