This pattern is filled with interesting techniques—great for the adventurous novice knitter, or experienced knitters who love keeping things interesting. It’s worked from the top-down, seamlessly, beginning with the cabled shoulder tabs. The back and fronts are picked up from the shoulder tabs and worked down. The sleeves are picked up around the armhole edges then decreased to the cuff. Pockets are worked seamlessly by placing waste yarn as the body is knit, then working the linings by picking up stitches from the stitches held by the waste yarn. Overall, there is always something interesting coming up—it won’t get boring!
