Stitching Mindfully
$ 37.00
When: Tuesday's October 21, 28 and November 4 and 11.
Time: 7pm to 8pm EST on Zoom. Meetings are intended to start and end on time and will not be recorded. Please intend to arrive on time and stay for the duration if you can.
What to Bring: A mindless fiber art project, such as: knitting, crocheting, handsewing, dropspinning, etc… something you can do without much thought.
Bring whatever project you’re working on, that has a simple and easy to stitch pattern—no intense counting or needing to have an internal mental dialog with yourself about the pattern. Something your body can stitch without much thought involved. You don’t have to be making something I designed to attend.
What is it: Stitching Mindfully is a 4-week series for those of us who need more time to slow down and really show up for ourselves. These 4 hours (1 hour, once a week for 4 weeks) are yours to claim the space and time to gift yourself with some uninterrupted quiet stitching time. This group has been lovingly referred to as knitting group for introverts.
What we'll do: Each meeting will have an opportunity to introduce yourself and your project, a period of guided mindful stitching, a time to discuss anything that came up during the mindful time, followed by a second guided mindful stitching period and a final discussion time before closing our meeting.
The link to Zoom will be emailed to you a few days before the first meeting and a reminder will go out the day of the meeting. Space is limited. Remember to mark your calendars. Meetings will NOT be recorded.
