Easy, breezy, and oh-so comfortable, this sweet cami is just the ticket for warm, berry picking days. The easy eyelets and seamless construction promise an accessible garment for every level of knitter.
This cami is worked from the top down, beginning with the upper back. The front shoulders are picked up from the back shoulders and worked flat down to the underarm, where the fronts and back are joined and worked in the round for the body.
Circular needle is suggested on upper back and front to avoid needing to place stitches onto holders. However, straight needles may be used, and the back stitches may be placed onto a stitch holder at the underarm, if desired.

The 34 3/4” / 88.5 cm size used almost the entirety of 1 skein (in each color) for the project. You may like to consider purchasing an extra skein of each color, or it may be necessary to make the body shorter if you run low on yarn.

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle
Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rnds / rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch, two strands held double, after blocking.
Errata: Unfortunately, we found a couple of errors in Berry Picking - there were three locations where the 3-st Garter Edging around the armhole was missing.
- On the back, when changing to St st.
- On the Back Armhole WS row.
- On the Left and Right Fronts, under Shape Neck and Armhole for all sizes, WS row.
The current Version 1.1 reflects the correction.
