If you live with unpredictable spring weather, your wardrobe needs the Vinyasa Cardigan. It’s a lightweight but insulating sweater—perfect for layering—made with a DK-weight yarn of wool and cotton. Cables add a rich texture to the fabric, and the soft green color mimics the new growth of springtime. Now you can go with the flow in high and low temperatures.

Finished Size 33.25 (38.75, 44, 49.25, 54.75, 60)“ bust circumference, buttoned. Cardigan shown measures 38.75”; modeled with 1.75” of negative ease.

Yarn Green Mountain Spinnery Cotton Comfort (80% wool, 20% organic cotton; 180 yd / 2 oz): leaf, 9 (10, 11, 12, 14, 15) skeins.

Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 32” circular and set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; cable needle; stitch holders; waste yarn; tapestry needle; seven 1” buttons.

Gauge 24 sts and 28 rows = 4” in charted patt.

Notes The body of this cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece from the lower edge to the underarm. The sleeves are worked separately in the round, then the sleeves and body are joined to work the yoke.
