This everyday cardigan is like a dream, lending itself well for curling up by the fire or out on a hike. Knit seamlessly with fun techniques, such as seamless pockets and a tubular cast-on and bind-off, this unisex sweater is just the ticket for every knitter’s fall wardrobe.
The sleeves and body are knit separately from the bottom up to the underarm where they are joined and worked together for the yoke. Stitches are held for the pocket linings while knitting the body, then picked up and knit in the round on dpns after the body and yoke are completed. The buttonband and collar stitches are picked up and knit in the Brioche Pattern, while working short rows to shape the collar.
