This pretty, warm-weather shrug begins with a provisional cast on and the lace pattern is worked as a rectangle. The waste yarn is removed from the provisional cast on and some stitches are cast on at the underarms. The trim is then worked in the round for a few inches. For a stretchy and fun edge, the trim is bound off with some picots! No seaming is required to make this piece.

Gauge:
12 sts (4 stitch repeats) and 18 rows (6 row repeats) = 4.5" (11.5 cm) in Lace Pattern with smaller needles, after wet-blocking and stretching to dry; 10 sts = 4" (10 cm) in 3 x 3 Ribbing with larger needles. Take time to save time, check your gauge.
