About this Pattern
These quick-to-knit mitts are worked flat, in some uniquely complementary texture patterns, then seamed. A great one-skein stash-busting project, and/or gift.
Finished Measurements:
6¾ (7¾, 8¾)" hand circumference
11½" long
Yarn Requirements:
Shown in Quince & Co.'s Osprey yarn
100% American wool
100 gram hank = approx 170 yards
1 (1, 1) hanks in color 152 Kumlien's gull
Knitting Needles:
One pair in each size US 9 and 11 (5.5 and 8 mm);
one set dpns in size US 9 (5.5 mm)
Or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 18 sts and 14 rows = 4" in star pattern with larger needles; 16 sts = 4" and 17 rows = 2" in basket stitch with smaller needles.Take time to save time, check your gauge.
