Spring Baby Cardi
The body of the Spring Baby Cardi is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the underarms, then the back and fronts are worked separately to the shoulders with modified-drop shaping. Shoulders are seamed. The sleeves are worked flat, then set into the armholes and seamed.

This simple cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke has increases for the neck and raglan, then at the underarm the sleeve stitches are held and stitches are cast on between the back and fronts for the underarm and the body is worked straight down to the hem. The held sleeve stitches are returned to double-pointed needles and worked in the round to the cuff. There are instructions for long or short sleeves and how to add buttons if desired. |

This sweater has a really fun and unique construction. It begins by working the upper body from the center of the back out to the sleeve cuffs. A provisional cast-on is used at the center of the back for an invisible join. The body stitches are picked up along the lower edge of the upper body, then knit down. |
