Pattern

Base
Ch 2.
Round 1: Sc 4 into first ch—4 sc.

Tip: Work 3 sc into the first ch, then when working the 4th sc, bring the short tail to the right under the working yarn—this helps close the gap.

Round 2: Sc into each sc around.

Round 3: [Sc 2 into next sc, sc into next sc] 2 times—6 sc.

Poke the point of the base down, so you're working with the outer edge
facing you as you crochet, rather than the inner edge.

Stuff the beginning yarn tail into the point, of the heart when it will stay put.

Round 4: Sc 2 into each sc around—12 sc.

Round 5: [Sc 2 into next sc, sc into next sc] 6 times—18 sc.

Round 6: Sc into each sc around.

First Bump
Round 1: Ch 2 (shown to left), skip 9 sc, sc into each of next 9 sc, sc into each of next 2 ch (sc into each ch, not around them)—11 sc.

Rounds 2 and 3: Sc into each sc around.

Tip: When working sc into the 2 ch stitches running along the center of the heart, work into only 1 strand of each chain stitch.

Round 4: [Sc2tog, sc into next sc] 3 times, sc2tog, sl st into next st and fasten off leaving approx 6" tail—7 sc.

Second Bump
Holding heart with the first bump facing to the right, insert hook into the corner between the first bump and rem 9 sts on the base. Place a slip knot on the hook and draw through, then ch 1.

Round 1: Sc into each of the 9 sc from the base to the other side of the first bump, sc2tog by working into the corner and the first ch (this prevents a gap from forming)

This image shows where to insert hook to pick up the corner (first loop) for the first sc2tog.

Sc2tog by working into the second ch and the corner where you joined the yarn—11 sc.

Rounds 2–4: Same as First Bump.

Finishing
Combine herbs together and stuff a little bit into the point of the heart. Add the rose quartz bead, then stuff herbs into each bump until firm, trying to keep the bead in the center of the heart.

Thread tail from one bump onto tapestry needle and draw through the outside loop of each stitch around.

Pull tight, then thread needle through the top of the bump, and weave it along the center edge of the bump to the V of the heart.

Repeat for the tail from the second bump.
Tie the two tails together for a hanging loop.

Crochet Stitches

ch: (chain) Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook (yarn over) and draw it through the loop on the hook to form the first chain. Rep this step as many times as instructed. (The loop on the hook is never included when counting the number of chains).

sc: (single crochet) Insert crochet hook in indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop; yarn over and draw through both loops on hook.

sl st: (slip stitch) Insert crochet hook in the indicated stitch, yarn over and draw through both the stitch and the loop on the hook.

sc2tog: (single crochet 2 together) [Insert crochet hook into next st, yarn over and pull up a loop] 2 times, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops
on hook.
