The Indie Designer Gift-a-long is about to begin! November 23, 2019 05:00

The annual gift-a-long (GAL) event on Ravelry is about to begin, and I'm really excited to be part of it this year! It's been happening just before the holidays for the last 7 years, but this is my first year participating.

Do you know about it? Let me tell you what I know!

Pattern Sale

There are about 300 participating knit and crochet designers who are each offering between 10–20 of their patterns for sale. That's a HUGE number of patterns on sale. This is the biggest sale event on Ravelry of the year.

The sale begins on Tuesday November 26 at 8pm eastern. Find out here what time that is for your time zone, so you don't miss it! It ends at 11:59pm Monday, December 2, 2019, eastern.

It's the perfect opportunity to stock up on whatever handmade gift patterns you'd like to make for this holiday season.

But, the GAL doesn't end with the sale! That's only the beginning!

KALs and CALs, prizes, contests and more!!

Through the end of this year, there are knit-a-longs and crochet-a-longs that are on-going, including physical and/or pattern prizes from me and the other designers.

Cast-on for the KAL and CAL is on Tuesday! Plan ahead to get started right at the get-go!

Not only are the 20 knit and crochet patterns that I've included in the GAL eligible for the KAL and CAL prizes, but ALL my patterns can be made with the possibility of winning something really cool!
